Who We Are
We are friends, family, participants, and enthusiasts of the Music Ministry at Christ the King Church. We believe in bringing the very best of our offerings to the Lord.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 |
What We Do
We support the rich and growing musical offerings at CtK, and the talented volunteer and professional musicians that make them possible. In addition to Sunday services, CtK offers special worship services; social and community events; and a stellar Concert Series.
Recordings
Below are unedited, live recordings of musical worship offerings at Christ the King. They are intended for devotional use throughout the church year. We appreciate your support of our growing program!
SPECIAL MUSIC: ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE JOURNEY
During this extraordinary time of isolation, virtual worship, unrest, and distress, we offer these resources for your devotion, meditation, and encouragement.
May 25: I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore. Revelation 21:4a
March 15: We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
This section is updated regularly. Some recordings are from corporate worship, and others are pre-recorded from virtual worship and/or offerings for this specific section.

He Heals the Brokenhearted
an original composition by Nancy Scimone
A message from the composer:
I’ve always had special love for the Psalms, and find that even in translations to English and other languages they are very musical, very singable. I chose to write the melody for this psalm, “He Heals the Broken-hearted,” as a way to honor God’s promise of eternal love, His Mercy and compassion. This Psalm reminds me that our sufferings are not in vain, not wasted. As we lift our broken hearts to Jesus, He returns to us His Holy Spirit, He “fills us with finest of wheat.” We are transformed. This recording is part of my entire psalms CD recording The Quiet Place. ~N.S.
CtK COVID Benefit Concert
